Lately, I Lost My Job

Recently, I lost my job. I have been working at the same place for over ten years now. Because of state-of-the-art technology, my position was taken over by a machine. Most of the other positions also will be taken over by machines. We are now all out of work.

I’ve been trying to apply for other jobs, but I have been collecting unemployment and now it is getting ready to run out. I have still not found a job, so I am compelled to take measures. I have been living in the same house ever since I acquired this job. It was actually the house I was married in and it was the house my children were raised in. Due to my low-income, I will need to move into a flat. The house I am currently living in has just about five bedrooms.

There are four bedrooms upstairs and there’s a bedroom downstairs that was my basement before. I have furniture for all these rooms. Now I am moving into a new place, I am going to have to do something with all of my furniture.

This furniture means a lot to me so I really don’t want to sell it. I might be able to sell a few things, but all of this furniture had been passed down from my dad to me. I want to find a local NYC mini storage unit to place all of my furniture in while I’m moving to a loft. My daughter has been hunting for local storage NYC units.

She said that she had found the perfect one for me, but I am not sure. We will both have to go look at it so I can decide if this is where I’d like to put most of my stuff until I’m able to afford a house again.

Laura Hawn has always loved NYC mini storage. She has written many articles on mini storage in NYC.
